Morning workout

As I walked down the block to work this morning I saw a man doing chin ups using the scaffolding on the building next to ours. As I approached wondering what his story was, a security guard comes out of the hospital and chases him away.

I guess he couldn't afford a gym membership.

Old People do the Darndest Things

I was a bit to slow to get a shot of yesterday's hilarity, but I will post this anyway. I was walking through the East Village yesterday when I found myself crossing at a busy crosswalk. A large group of us were almost across when a young teen on a bicycle came racing around the corner right in front of us. The old woman next to me took her rolled up newspaper and smacked him right in the back as he went past.
